When & Why I joined NAWBO
I joined NAWBO in August 2020. I work with a lot of men and I really wanted an opportunity to connect with likeminded women business owners.
When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
I’m a foodie and I am always searching for and ready to try a new restaurant. I can’t wait to move past the pandemic.
What is your favorite knock-knock joke?
2 jumper cables walk into a bar and the bartender says “I’ll serve you but don’t start anything.”
What is one superpower you’d choose to have?
I am an introvert so I will have to say that invisibility is my superpower.

Name a person (living or dead) who inspires you. Why
Dorothy Height was a Civil Rights and Women’s Rights Activist as well as the 4th President of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW). I would love to speak with her about her work as an activist and her experience giving advice on political issues during a time when gender discrimination was prevalent.
